Our Vision
Word in Action Christian Center International has been established to be a model of a strong and righteous people of God in the earth today. This ministry has been given a specific, unequivocal mandate to raise up and train a godly people to do a rapid work in advancing His kingdom. This will be accomplished by imparting solid biblical truths; facilitating deliverance; educating, training and equipping disciples; emphasizing character, integrity and accountability; building strong men; restoring families; and bringing deliverance to the City of Detroit (now known as Miracle City), the State of Michigan, the nation and the world, by impacting one soul, one house, one block, one community, one city. . . All at one time.
Word in Action has been called and sent to God’s remnant people who no longer desire “church as usual.” This ministry is for a people who are ready to change, to live according to the Word of God, and are excited to do God’s work. God has given Bishop Langston a strategic plan to fulfill this vision, capture this region and make substantial headway for the body of Christ. Word In Action will do this by:
- Building strong leaders that will carry out the mission of the Ministry
- Planting churches in the Metro Detroit area, throughout the country and abroad
- Being a beacon of light on our 5.4 acres by creating a world class campus that will include:
- Standard Setting Sanctuary
- Executive Wing
- Administrative Wing
- State of the Art Gym
- Educational Training Facilities
- Indoor and Outdoor Recreational Facilities
- Conference and Banquet Facilities
- A welcoming environment for youth, seniors and the community at large
- Provide community support through:
- Community Engagement Programs
- Political Engagement
- Youth and Senior Programming
